Virginia Ann Lenning, 90, of Hueytown, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2021. Virginia was raised in Columbiana and was a Southern Baptist. She loved doing embroidery and cooking, and children. She was a huge Alabama fan. She was a strong woman, hard worker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack Lenning; parents Hutsie and Pearl Moore; son Danny Lenning; daughter Sederia Lenning Boothe; daughters-in-law Linda Lenning, Mary Ann Lenning, and Linda Fenton Lenning; sister Lois Gillen; and brothers Leon Moore and Charles Moore. She is survived by her children Larry Lenning (Brenda), David Lenning, Terry Lenning, Lamar Lenning (Jacqueline), and Richard Lenning; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. The visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Valley Creek Cemetery.
