Terry Lynn Thomas, age 59, passed away peacefully at his home in Hueytown, AL. on Friday January 8, 2020 after a difficult battle with Lung Cancer. He was born on February 6, 1961 in Birmingham, AL. to Joyce (Martin) Thomas and Calvin Stripling and was later adopted by his stepdad Clarence Thomas. He was the maintenance and equipment manager for Forterra Pipe & Precast in Pelham, AL. for over 40 years. Left to honor and cherish his memory are his two children Christy (Thomas) Capps and (Byron), and Terry Thomas Jr. (Tjay) and (Brooke). His four grandchildren, JoJo, Bentley, Charleigh, and Presleigh. His four siblings Neal, Laura, Larry, and Angel. Along with many friends, family, and coworkers. He was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years Sheila (Murphree)Thomas, his mother, father, and many other loved ones. Terry was a hard worker who loved racing, football, and spending time with friends and family. He was one of a kind, and he will be greatly missed. There will be no funeral services held, at Terry’s request. Any Expression of sympathy that you wish to make is welcomed.
