SHERRY LYNN "NINA" BEAVERS BOYD

Sherry Lynn “Nina” Beavers Boyd, went on to be with Jesus Sunday afternoon Feb. 6, 2022. Sherry was 73 years young, living in McCalla, AL. She was born March 5, 1948, at home in Bessemer, AL. She graduated from Mcadory High School 1966, Cosmetology school, Real estate school, and nursing school, but her passion was making people happy by helping them to look their best, so she stayed with Cosmetology. She enjoyed playing Rook, eating out, watching Alabama football, going to the beach, and reading. She was a faithful member of The Refreshing Place Church. Before passing she would say, “God has blessed me all of my life,” and she would recount all that God had done for her and brought her through over the years. She was the smartest, strongest, most independent woman I’ve ever known, because of her relationship with Jesus Christ. No matter what she went through, she trusted in the Lord. Sherry was preceded in death by her spouse of 22 years Billy T. Boyd; dad and mom Hubert William & Mary Edna Beavers; brothers Daniel Ray and Roy J. Beavers; and sister Judy B. Sims. She is survived by: daughter Vickie Snider; son-in-law and granddaughter Ryan and Stephanie Bailey; grandchildren Aurella and Daniel Bailey; sister Connie Wyatt; brother Phillip Beavers; and many, many nieces and nephews. She also firmly believed in tithes and offerings, and God blessed/multiplied what she gave him again and again. These are two ministries that were close to her heart.
