REGGIE "PAPA" FISHER

Reggie Fisher “Papa”, age 68 of Hueytown, Alabama was called home to meet his heavenly father on February 5, 2022. Reggie was a kind and compassionate man that loved with his whole heart. He had many passions, from working to traveling to fishing with his grandson, however his greatest pleasure of all was spending time with his family and friends. Reggie retired from US Steel of 25 years and was also the owner of Metro Fence. His hard working ethics allowed him to develop a multi-generational company that was later passed down to his sons. Reggie continued to work and support Metro Fence until his last days. Reggie was preceded in death by his parents Watson Fisher and Imongene Hullett Fisher and his son Jeremy Neil "Fish" Fisher. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Diana Brown Fisher; son, Jason Fisher (Nakia); Daughter-In-Law Hope Fisher Turner (Chad); grandchildren, Maci and Mason Fisher and Sassy Renz; sister Carolyn Pate (Johnny); brother Gary Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. The visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, February 11, 2022, at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, February12, 2022, at the Funeral Home, with O'Neal Cleveland officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to Mission 44 at M44.org
