LOUISE HAWKINS FARR

Louise Hawkins Farr, age 81, of Bessemer, AL., went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2022. She was an elder at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She graduated from McAdory High School. Louise attended University of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama Dental Hygiene School, University of South Alabama and Bessemer Technical College. She worked in many various fields, Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistant and Orthodontic Technician for many years. She also worked as a medical assistant “Receptionist”. Louise was a business owner – Bessemer Pool & Patio and The Christmas Shoppe,, she was a member of the No Name Club, Garden Club, Amenity Club, Music Club; Robert Moore’s Band, Bessemer Board of Beautification, Bessemer Carraway Hospital Auxiliary, Bessemer Junior Service League, Bessemer Hall of History, Business Professional Women’s League, Executive Board Member of Bessemer Civic Center, CPW, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, National Federation of Music Clubs. She was the strongest woman we ever knew. Her love, compassion and grace were beyond measure and her devotion to her church and family was without limits. She is survived her daughters, DeAnn Rohrbach (Tim) and Shea Maple (Todd); daughter-in-love, Bonnie Allison Farr; grandchildren Ashley Corley (J.D.), Heather Hill, Lindsey Bagwell (Zack), Trey Farr, Andy Farr, Chad Rohrbach, Bella Maple and Giana Maple; great grandchildren Brooklin Allen, Eli Corley, Graylin Bagwell, Ridge Bagwell and Maverick Corley; many nieces and nephews and a host of wonderful friends. The visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Frank Poe, Tim Rohrbach, Todd Maple, Trey Farr, Andy Farr, Chad Rohrbach, and Anthony Beard.
