Linda Cannon, age 74, of Oak Grove, passed away January 17, 2022. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sylvan Springs. Linda was an avid reader, and she loved working in her flower garden. She especially loved reading her Bible. She is preceded in death by her parents Renard “Pete” Cox and Kathleen Fields, and her brother Robert. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and she also loved her friends. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Paul; daughters Jenny Cannon and Kathy Canoles (Steven); granddaughters Amber Duke (Jon) and Allison Canoles; great granddaughters Avery and Sadie Duke; brothers Jerry Cox (Margaret) and Charles “Charlie” Fields (Murlene); she loved her little puppy “Starr”. Visitation will be Friday, January 21, 2022 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside will follow at Sylvan Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
