Joan Lynn Quiminer Poole, a faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ for 84 earthly years, peacefully and joyfully left this earth to immediately be united with our King and Creator, and to finally be reunited with her precious daughter Amanda Lynn Poole who preceded her in 2011, and has and awaited “mom’s” arrival since that very moment! What a joyful moment in Heaven that must have been! Joan was a lifetime wife, mother, sister, granny, and thrived in and cherished each of those roles. A true servant in the Biblical Sense, Joan always put everyone else before herself. Living a life of great sacrifice to enable each and every one of her family, friends, and associates to thrive in her loving environment, their joy being sufficient earthly reward and the hope of their salvation being her Heavenly Crown. Joan was totally and completely devoted to Amanda for every moment that Amanda was allowed to be on this earth, 48 years. They were inseparable and each shared a deep and abiding love for one another and for Jesus, a love that was apparent in the joy that each of them exuded during their entire earthly walk. What a peace and what a joy to know, without a doubt that they are together again singing, praising and worshipping our Lord and Saviour for eternity! I addition to sweet Amanda, Joan was preceded by her father Joseph Lynwood Quiminer, Jr.,and her mother Roberta Quiminer. She is survived by her faithful husband of 67 years Donald L. Poole, Sr. who will miss her greatly. Also surviving her are her sons, Donald L. Poole, Jr. (Susan) of Spanish Fort, Al, Robert Q. Poole (Lori) of Birmingham, Al., and Jeffrey M. Poole (Dana) of Bel Air, MD; grandchildren Aubrey Poole (Aaron), New Roads, LA, Justin L. “Buck” Poole (April) of Birmingham, AL, Jessica Ridgel (Stuart) of Hammond, LA..
