Donna Kay Norris, age 68, of Hueytown, AL, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 4:30 a.m., in Elite Nursing and Rehab, Birmingham, AL.Donna was born on September 16, 1953 in Herrin, IL, a daughter to Lloyd Sr. and Ruth Ann (Roberts) Sullins. On August 3, 1973, she married Robert William Norris in White Ash, IL and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2021 after almost 48 years of marriage. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Hueytown, AL. Donna enjoyed cross stitch, puzzles, and traveling and dearly loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her two sons, Travis (Jennifer) Norris of Hueytown, AL and Trevor Norris (Lauren Turner) of Hoover, AL; a daughter, Cathleen (Casey) Pugh of Hueytown, AL; three brothers, Dick (Marilyn) Sullins of Marion, IL, Ralph (Sandy) Sullins of Marion, IL, and Harvey (Pam) Sullins of Spring Hill, TN; two sisters, Peggy (Jim) Poole of West Frankfort, IL, and Debbie Sullins of Pelham, AL; a brother-in-law, Edward (Kay) Norris of Auburn, IL; a sister-in-law, Donna Sue Weis of DuQuoin, IL; and four grandchildren, Kyle Norris, Justin Norris, Kayla Norris, and Wayne Pugh. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two infant children, Shane Norris and Rachel Norris; and three brothers, Lloyd Sullins Jr., Jim Sullins, and Jon Sullins. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with her sister, Debbie Sullins, officiating. Burial will be in Old DuQuoin Cemetery, DuQuoin, IL . Visitation will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, DuQuoin, IL on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama or South Highland Adult Care Center, Birmingham, AL.
