DONALD "RED" CRANE

Donald "Red" Crane of Hueytown, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, at the age of 70. Red was born on August 10, 1951 to father William Earl Crane and mother Louise Tucker Crane of Haleyville, AL. Red was the second born of nine children. Red retired as a miner from UMWA. Red loved Alabama football, working on cars, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends.Red was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Juanita and Diane. He is survived by his wife Connie Weaver Crane; children Kevin Crane and Heath (Brandy) Crane; grandchildren Austin Simmons, Bradley (Paige) Canterberry, Alex Crane, Bryceson Crane, Colby Crane, Bryelin Crane, Aidan Crane, and Colten Crane; great-grandchildren Grayson Simmons and Saylor Canterberry. A visitation for Red is planned for Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 12:30pm-2:00pm. The visitation will be at People's Chapel Funeral Home in Hueytown. Funeral service will follow at 2:00pm. Burial will follow service at Forest Grove Cemetery.
