Clarence Thomas “C. T.” Drake, Sr., age 93 of Bessemer, AL., passed away May 15, 2022. He attended Peoples Church. He started Drake Machine and Fab Company, INC in 1973, and built it into a family business. He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a friend. C. T. was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 77 years Lou Jean Drake; daughter Sylvia Lynn McBride (Bruce); son C. T. Drake, Jr. (Londa); grandsons C. T. Drake III and Shawn Drake Hastings; three great grandchildren; one brother Joe Drake (Gail). There will be a graveside service Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Oak Grove First Baptist Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Brother Phillip Hill officiating.
