Cherrie Latta, 83, of McCalla, passed away January 11, 2021. Cherrie attended Phillips High School. She worked at Deluxe Cleaners in Fairview, and Central Park Cleaners. She attended Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Cherrie was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Latta, her parents Buster and Beatrice Isbell, and her sister Aline Bruno. She is survived by her sons Buster Latta (Vicki) and John Latta (Linda); grandchildren Justin Latta (Rachel), Corey Latta (Kayla), Holly Davis, Candace Smith (DeWayne), Kristin Willcutt (Jon), and Daniel Harris (Vantasia); 9 great grandchildren; sister Carolyn Walden; and numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2021, from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM, at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 11:30 AM at Elmwood Cemetery, with Rev. Jake McCall officiating.
