Charles Edward Yates, age 70, of Alliance passed away January 28, 2022. He retired from US Steel with 32 years of service. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Harding and Evelyn Yates, three brothers Don Bates, Larry and Billy Yates. He is survived by his wife Dana Yates; daughters Jennifer Yates, Sharon McDonald (Bobby), Becky Burchfield, Annette Lambert; grandchildren Sela, Zane, Zeke, Xie and Saylor McDonald, Gena Kent, Emory Lambert, Olivia Beason, Elgin Jace; a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Smithville Baptist
