ANNETTE WATERS

Margaret Annette Waters died January 21, 2021. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister and friend. Born in Quinton, Alabama in 1928. She married William Lee Waters Jr. in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 2007 after 59 years of marriage. She was a longtime member of Hueytown First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Mae and James Harris Moore; her brothers John W. Moore, James H. Moore, Jr.; and her sister Patricia Moore Letson. She is survived by her 4 daughters and their husbands Susanne and Andy Redd, Montgomery, AL; Nancy and John Powell, Somerset, KY; Jan and Jim Webb, Daphne, AL; Joy and Wilbur Brown, Auburn, AL; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM, Monday, January 25, 2021, at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The graveside will be at 2:30 PM at Moore Cemetery, McCalla, with Rev. John Simmons officiating. Covid 19 restrictions will be followed. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hueytown First United Methodist Church.
