RALPH STANLEY "PEPAW" CRABBE

Ralph Stanley “Pepaw” Crabbe, 72, of Alliance, Alabama, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on April 19, 2025. Ralph was born on June 6, 1952 in Fairfield, Alabama. He grew up in Forest Hills. He worked at US Steel until 1980, drove a big truck for a year, and he was proudly in the car business where he was a service manager for most of his life at Roy Buckner Chevrolet, Midfield Auto Sales, McGee Dodge, Terry McGee Toyota, Edwards Chevrolet, and Parkway Dodge. He was so proud of each of those places and he would tell you all about them if you were to ask. He is preceded in death by his one true love, his wife Pam Slater Crabbe, his parents Buford and Grace Crabbe, his brother Harold Crabbe Jr. He is survived by his children: son, Scott (Anne) Crabbe, daughters, Melissa (Stacy) Weathington, Melinda (Joseph) Wheeler, and Melodie (Wes) Berry; grandchildren, Haley Pierce, Trevor (Dia) Berry, Noah (Shelby) White, Hayden Pierce, Brantley (Kayley) Weathington, Cadie Weathington, Macey Crabbe, Joseph (Iris) Crabbe, Addisyn Wheeler, Cameron Berry; great grandchildren, Liliana and Meadow; siblings, Danita Crabbe, Steve and Brenda Grissett, Larry Dunn Floyd Odom; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ralph was a devoted husband, a loving father, friend, Pe-Paw, uncle, brother and much more. His love for his family was unlike anything else. He cherished every moment he had with his family. Joy would fill his heart when he would hear from them or even get to see them. He never failed to put his family first. He was so proud of his family and if you were to ask him he would tell you why with a smile on his face and joy in his heart. He was always there to support you, no matter what was happening around him. He was always a phone call away. He loved everything when it had something to do with Nascar, Alabama Football, Elvis, Fishing and Western Movies. He was the most supportive person you would have ever met. In the heat or in the cold, he was always there for you when you needed him. He lived a wonderful life, one that he was proud of. He will forever be remembered and forever be in our hearts. He was the greatest Daddy, Pe-Paw, Paw-Paw, Friend, Brother, Uncle that anyone could ask for. He is now back home with his one true love, Pam. Ralph and Pam were always meant to be, there was no doubt about it. The visitstion will be Friday, April 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Peoples Chspel Funeral Home, 195 Brooklane Drive, Hueytown, AL 35023.
