PEGGY LYNNE QUINN ALLMAN

Peggy Lynne Quinn Allman, 79, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, at UAB St. Vincent’s in Birmingham, Alabama. Born on March 21, 1947, Peggy lived a life full of love, strength, and devotion to her family. She retired from Alfa Insurance after many years of dedicated service, but her greatest and most cherished role in life was being a mother and a Mimi. Peggy was known for her outspoken nature, her quick wit, and her ability to say exactly what was on her mind. If you knew Peggy, you knew where you stood-and you knew she loved deeply. Her family was her world, and she loved them fiercely. She was the best cook, a wonderful storyteller, and has a way of making people feel cared for and seen. She genuinely cared about others and had a heart bigger than most. Her daughters, Allison Zorn and Quinn Coleman, were the pride and joy of her life. She was also a proud and loving Mimi to Dylan Scoggins, Maddie Coleman, Brinley Zorn, Landon Coleman, and Mia Zorn, each of whom brought her endless joy and happiness. Peggy is survived by her loving daughters, sons-in-law Mark Zorn and Brad Coleman, grandchildren, sister Kay Foster, nieces Dana and Leigh Foster, great-nephew Tyler Foster and great-niece Taylor Campbell. She is reunited in Heaven with her mother and father, Ethel and James Quinn, and her brother, Robert “Bobby” Quinn, whom she missed dearly. The family would also like to recognize her special lifelong friends, Susan and Jerry Godwin, and Jenny and Charlie Smith, for their love and friendship through the years. Peggy’s legacy will live on in the memories she creates; the lessons she taught, the love she gave so freely, and the countless stories her family will continue to share for generations to come. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff at UAB St. Vincent’s for the compassionate care they gave Peggy. A special thank you to Will Dobbs for the love, kindness, and care you showed her. Thank you for treating her as if she were your own family. A memorial service to celebrate Peggy’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00am at People’s Funeral Home in Hueytown, Alabama. Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing she is now resting in the arms of Jesus.
