DAVID KEITH FREEMAN

David Keith Freeman, 57, of Sylacauga, Alabama, peacefully passed away on January 5, 2024. Born on April 8, 1966, in Alabama, David led a life rooted in faith, humility, and gratitude. A faithful Christian, David embodied the teachings of love and compassion. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished member of his community. Known for his infectious laughter and joyful spirit, David had an extraordinary ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him. David's deep love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He is survived by his beloved son, John-Mark Freeman, his dear parents, Howard Stephen Freeman and Nancy Lane (Miller) Freeman, his loving brothers, Tim Freeman and Thomas Freeman, sister in-law Jennifer Freeman, grandmother Ailene Miller Nolan and his respected father-in-law, Ross Clemons. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Candace Leigh (Clemons) Freeman, whose memory he held close to his heart. Grandfathers Joseph Howard Freeman and Joseph Thomas Miller and grandmother Mary Alma Ray Freeman. An avid learner, David attended Brooklane Baptist Academy for his high school education before pursuing his passion for drafting at Bessemer State Technical College, where he earned a bachelor's degree. His talent and dedication led to an accomplished career in the field .David's faith played a central role in his life, and he found solace and inspiration in worship. Throughout his journey, he called multiple churches home, nurturing his relationship with the divine and finding strength in his spiritual community. Beyond his professional pursuits, David found joy and fulfillment in his hobbies. He delighted in playing video games, finding solace and adventure in virtual worlds. His love for reading extended to his cherished Bible, which he turned to for guidance and inspiration. Above all, he found true fulfillment in worshiping the Lord, embracing the profound connection between his faith and the wonders of creation. The Freeman family invites you to join them in honoring David's life and offering heartfelt condolences. A visitation will be held at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home in Hueytown, Alabama, at 10:00 AM, on Friday January 12, 2024 followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM.As we gather to remember and celebrate David Keith Freeman, let us reflect upon his unwavering faith, his humble spirit, and his deep respect for all of creation.
